Wormzol Bolus

WORMZOL-B is a preparation containing albendazole which is effective against nematodes, lung worms, cestodes, and trematodes in gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts on cattle and buffalo. Albendazole is benzimidazole derivative which works by inhibiting fumarate reductase thereby inhibiting energy production. Due to diminished energy production, the worm is paralyzed and eventually dies. WORMZOL-B is safe and may be given to young and sick livestock. Its preparation on bolus form make the administration dose be more accurate.

Each bolus contains:

INDICATION

Eliminates worm at all stages in gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts on cattle and buffalo:

• Adult, ova and larvae stages of nematodes
• Adult and larvae stages of lung worms (Dictyocaulus sp., Muellerius sp.)
• Adult stage of cestodes (Moniezia sp.)
• Adult stage of trematodes (Fasciola sp.)

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Cattle & buffalo:

• To eliminate nematodes, lung worms, and cestodes : 1 bolus per 200 kg of body weight
• To eliminate trematodes : 2 boluses per 200 kg of body weight
