Vermixon Syrup

Vermixon is a syrup preparation containing piperazine hexahydrate which is very effective for eliminating ascaridiasis. Piperazine hexahydrate acts as an anthelmintic by producing a neuromuscular block. Production of succinic acid by the worm is also blocked. The result is a paralytic effect. Worms lose their motility and thus their ability to maintain their position in the intestinal tract. They are passively swept along by intestinal peristalsis and then expelled in the feces. In addition, piperazine hexahydrate has a wide margin of safety in poultry. Thereby Vermixon is best for eliminating ascaridiasis in poultry.

Poultry

• 4-6 weeks old: 15 ml per 3 liters of drinking water for 50 chickens
• Above 6 weeks old: 30 ml per 4-5 liters of drinking water for 50 adult chickens
