Sulfamix

SULFAMIX is an oral preparation containing Sulfadimethylpyrimidine, a chemotherapeutic agent belonging to Sulfonamide group. It has broad spectrum activity against protozoa (Eimeria sp.), Gram (-) and Gram (+) bacteria. Sulfadimethylpyrimidine acts by inhibiting the synthesis of folic acid in bacterial metabolism, which is needed to grow and multiply. Bacteria will suffer from retarded growth and die. Sulfamix is formulated to treat gastrointestinal infection caused by Eimeria sp., Salmonella sp., Pasteurella multocida and Escherichia coli. These microorganisms will caused decreased of nutrition absorption. Sulfamix is also effective in treating respiratory infection, such as coryza.

COMPOSITION

Each ml contains:

• Sulfamethoxazole
• Excipients

INDICATION

• Coccidiosis (blood-stained droppings)
• Pullorum (whitish droppings)
• Coryza (cold, nasal discharge, swollen face)
• Fowl cholera (greenish droppings)
• CRD (snoring)

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Administer once per day 0.4 ml per kg of body weight by intramuscular injection for 3-5 consecutive days.
