Proxan-S

PROXAN-S is a water-soluble powder containing Ciprofloxacin HCl, an antibacterial in Fluoroquinolone group. Ciprofloxacin HCl has bactericidal effect which acts by preventing bacterial enzyme DNA gyrase activity. It will interrupt cell division process and cause death. Ciprofloxacin HCl has a wide spectrum against Gram (-) and Gram (+) bacterias including Mycoplasma sp. Compared with other Fluoroquinolones, Ciprofloxacin HCl has the highest potency since it has low MIC (Minimum Inhibitory Concentration). With all these advantages, PROXAN-S is effective to overcome numerous bacterial infections in poultry.

• Excipients

INDICATION

• CRD Complex (coughing, snoring, cloudy swelling of air sac)
• Colibacillosis (dyspnea, air sac, heart and liver covered by fibrinous membrane)
• Fowl Cholera (greenish droppings, dyspnea, swelling of wattle and comb)
• Infectious Coryza (cold, swollen face)
• Pullorum (whitish droppings, appear to be feeling cold)dropping

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

0.1 gram per kg of body weight or 1 gram per 2 liters of drinking water, administered for 3-5 consecutive days
