COMPOSITION
Medivac Pox contains a fowlpox virus of M-92 strain. The virus is produced in SPF (Specific Pathogen Free) eggs to ensure that the vaccine is free from pathogenic microorganisms.
INDICATION
Medivac Pox is indicated for protection against fowlpox in poultry. Vaccination success is characterized by appearance of nodules in the injection area, minimum 10% of the vaccinated chicken.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
- Before vaccination, the injection needle must be boiled for 30 minutes
- Open vaccine and diluent. Install the plastic tube connecting the vaccine vial and diluent bottle. Pour diluent into the vial and then pour it back into the diluent bottle. Repeat 2 – 3 times until the vaccine it thoroughly dissolved
- Shake the vaccine in the diluent bottle, but should not foam
- Dip the injection needle in vaccine solution until it is totally immersed
- Pull the chicken’s wing, carefully inject the vaccine into a thin part of the wing fold. Do not vaccinate any veins, bones or wing nerves. Prevent vaccine from contacting other parts of the chicken except the injection site
