Medivac Gumboro Emulsion

COMPOSITION

Medivac Gumboro Emulsion contains infectious bursal disease (IBD)/ Gumboro disease virus of the Winterfield 2512 strain. The inactivated virus is emulsified in mineral oil adjuvant to enhance and prolong the efficacy of the vaccine.

INDICATION

  • Medivac Gumboro Emulsion is indicated for protection against IBD/Gumboro disease in broilers, roosters, layers, and breeders
  • Medivac Gumboro Emulsion has indicated for maternal antibody enhancement and uniformity in chicks hatched from vaccinated breeders

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

  • Inject Medivac Gumboro Emulsion to each bird intramuscularly (through muscle) on thigh/breast or subcutaneously (under the skin) at the lower back of the neck
  • Medivac Gumboro Emulsion is given to chickens in combination with or which have been vaccinated using live IBD/ Gumboro disease vaccine
  • The dosage is 0.2 ml per young bird or 0.5 ml per adult bird
