Exterminate early stage of larva flies.
LARVATOX is a powder preparation containing Cyromazine which is indicated to exterminate flies. Cyromazine is an insect growth regulator (IGR) belonging to triazine derivative that acts by mimicking juvenile hormone, a growth hormone of insect. The function of juvenile hormone is to maintain larval stage of flies and thus interfere it from maturation process to become pupa and mature stage. Therefore, larva may not be able to develop into mature form and then die. In addition, LARVATOX administration in feed will result in drier chicken’s feces.
Each kg contains:
Exterminate Lucillia sp. and Musca domestica larva at chicken farm
Mix 100 gram of LARVATOX with 5 kg of feed gradually, then mix with 1 ton of feed until homogeneous, administer for 4-6 consecutive weeks.
Stop LARVATOX for the following 4-8 weeks. It may be re-administered if flies start to breed.
