LD is a clear blue sterile solution which is used as vaccine solvent containing phosphate salts to maintain pH of solution in neutral condition (pH 7). Neutral pH is necessary to stabilize vaccine potency to obtain optimum immunity. This can be reached by using LD as vaccine solvent for vaccination via eye, oral, or nose drops.
