Gentamin

GENTAMIN is sterile preparation which contains gentamycin sulphate. Gentamycin sulphate works by binding the receptors on bacterial 30S ribosome and thus prevents synthesis of new protein and cell membrane. This mechanism effective to kill Gram (-) bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella sp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Gram (+) bacteria such as Staphylococcus sp.

COMPOSITION

Each ml contains: 

• Gentamycin sulphate 
• Excipients

INDICATION

• Infectious coryza (cold, nasal discharge, swollen face)
• Colibacillosis (dyspnea, air sac, heart and liver covered by fibrinous membranes)

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Inject intramuscularly (through flesh/muscle) with dose 0.2 – 0.25 ml per kg of body weight. Give GENTAMIN for 3 consecutive days or under licensed veterinarian prescription
