Ferdex Plus

FERDEX PLUS is an injection preparation containing complex of iron with dextran (Fe-dextran), vitamin B6 and vitamin B12. FERDEX PLUS is effective for anemia treatment and growth enhancement of piglets.

INDICATION

• For prevention and treatment of anemia in nursing piglets caused by insufficient supply of iron from the sow’s milk.
• Growth enhancement and mortality reduction in piglets.
• Improvement of body resistance against infection.

COMPOSITION

Each ml contains:

• Fe-dextran equivalent to Fe (iron) 
• Vitamin B6 
• Vitamin B12 
• Excipients 

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Inject intramuscularly (through flesh/muscle) on thigh areas

• Dosage: 2 ml per piglet at the age of 2-4 days.
• If symptoms of iron deficiency appear, repeat at the age of 2-3 weeks for 2 ml per piglet.
