DOXYTIN NF is a powder preparation containing Doxycycline HCl which works by binding the 30S ribosomal sub unit of susceptible bacteria, resulting in inhibited protein synthesis and death of bacteria. DOXYTIN NF is effective to treat Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) accompanied by secondary infection due to E coli infection.
Each kg contains:
0.1 gram per kg of body weight or 1 gram per 2 liters of drinking water for 5-7 consecutive days
