Effective against respiratory disorder (CRD).
DOXYVET is a powder preparation containing antibacterial Doxycycline HCl which has been proven to be effective in treating respiratory tract infection. Doxycycline HCl is effective to against Gram (-) and Gram (+) bacteria, acts by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit of susceptible organism, thus causing interference of aminoacyl-tRNA binding to the m-RNA molecule/ribosome complex, thereby interfere protein synthesis in growing or multiplying of bacteria. DOXYVET is suggest to treat Mycoplasma gallisepticum which may cause Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) in poultry.
Each gram contains:
CRD (snoring)
2 g per liter of drinking water or 0.4 g per kg of body weight, administer for 3 consecutive days
